Pinpointers?
Has anyone done a recent comparison of the different pin pointers on the market? I'm interested in the Garrett pro pointer, the Detector pro pistol and the Treasure Mate. Can anyone suggest recommendations, pros/cons? Thanks

HeyTom,
Never used a pinpointer so can't help you with your decision. Here in Florida with all our sand and soft soil, digging somthing up is not difficult but there have been times when I considered it. I'll have to check with Famous Treasures and see what kind of deals we can get. I recently purchased a Minelab Safari and it pin points very well. Now I got find some time to put it to good use! Hi Tom,
Had occassion to be up at Famous Treasures and asked about the pinpointers. He had the Garretts and I was impressed with it. Small enough to not get in the way but strong enough to get the job done. The others seemed to be big enough to be in the way along with everything else you have to carry. He's asking $127.50 give or take a few pennies. I might have to break the piggy bank and get one myself. Wally |
